About Us
The Rassau Resource Community Centre is run by the local community for the local community. The building itself has been a cornerstone of Rassau since 1879, first as the local primary school and currently as a community-run centre. Whether it’s arts and crafts events, youth clubs or childcare in our on-site nursery, the Centre is there to provide support and assistance to all of the community.

Business Info
The Rassau Resource Community Centre is run by the local community and came into community ownership in 2014 through the Community Asset Transfer Scheme. A long-term lease from the Local Authority for the building was signed in 2023. The Centre is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and the income generated by the centre is reinvested back into the Centre. No dividends are paid to the company directors who are all volunteers who live or work in the area. The Board provides strategic management for the Centre and a team of dedicated volunteers ensure the centre runs on a day-to-day basis.
